Welcome One and all, to TDE’s Halloween Event
This year we’ve got tricks and treats for all, whether you’re a puppy in the nursery or an ancient bleeder in the wastes, there will be things for all to enjoy!Please note that the Costume Contest and the Masquerade are separate things! The Masquerade is fancy dress (as in black tie event) and the Costume Contest is costume dress (Witches, ghouls, goblins.)
The Masquerade Ball
All Edeners above the age of one year are allowed to participate in the annual Masquerade Ball. To be accepted inside you must be wearing a decorative mask of some sort, that disguises your identity, and formal dress.To participate:
- Draw your character all dressed up with their mask
- Draw your character dancing with another character
- Write a lit piece about your character’s time at the ball
Reward:
- 40 Skelts for each art or lit piece + normal skelt earnings for those pieces.
Spooky Scary Story Time
The puppies in the Eden nursery have been begging for you to tell them scary stories! You give in eventually, but a furmother warns you not to scare the poor dears too bad!To participate:
- Draw an image of your dog telling stories to the pups with a short literature piece in the description
or
- Write a (longer) lit piece your dog telling stories to the puppies!
Reward:
- 40 Skelts for each art or lit piece + normal skelt earnings for those pieces.
The House of Horrors
Those in the Wastelands aren’t big on fancy dresses and dances. Instead, some of the Wastelanders assemble a haunted house and spread rumors to bring other dogs in. While some may just intend to innocently frighten, others may have more… unpleasant motives.To participate:
- Write a lit piece about how your character participates in the haunted house
- Draw your character getting scared
or
- Draw your character scaring another dog
Reward:
- 40 Skelts for each art or lit piece + normal skelt earnings for those pieces.
The Costume Contest
Come one, come all, to TDE’s Costume Contest! All are welcome to join, and some lucky dog will win a prize!To participate:
- Draw your character in their costume!
(One entry per character)

Halloween Scavenger Hunt
Hidden on comments inside deviations, pages and journals around TDE are candies, toys, and delicious treats. How many can you find?Items can be found in comments by TDE-funds !
To participate:
- Look for candy, toys, rats and bats on journal entries and things posted by admins!
- Click on each item and grab its sta.sh link. Collect all of the links in a sta.sh writer document and then note them to us!
-Try to work alone! It'll defeat the fun if you're given all the answers.
Reward:
- 10 skelts per item found (200 skelts total if all are found)
